Amp location?

I have seen alot of amps mounted to the sub box but to me that would be a bad location for an SPL setup due to the constant vibration to the amp. This setup does make the best use of available space though.

Good choice or bad?

mounting the amp on the box isnt the best of ideas cause of the vibrations.. but f you must do it, mount it neer a corner, or over some bracing.. that will be the best spot on the box for the least vibrations.. but it's still not the greatest of ideas.

this is true, but you also have to remember that these amps ARE designed to be in a car...they are pretty resistant to that sort of stuff.

I wouldn't worry about the vibration. Mount the sucker where ever it fits and works the best.
