Amping rear speakers
i have no idea what was just said but,
find out the RMS rating on those speakers (220 is the peak most likely).
then just match any 2/4 channel amp with it that puts out similar power at 4ohm(from a respectable company). I'd look for a four channel with a little more power than you need so you can upgrade in the future.
why do you just want to amplify the rears though?
i'd be working on getting the soundstage in front of me before i put more power behind me.

WTF!!!! English bro...I, and I'm sure everyone else, have no idea what you meant. Anyway, to the OP, any decent quality amp rated at 40-60 watts rms per channel will more than do the job. Look for one that is CEA2006 certified, as it lets you know quickly that it produces rated power into that load. Typically, Pioneers that are rated at peak input power like 220 watts are good for 1/4 of that in rms power, or about 50 watts.
You can usually find a decent used 4/channel for around $150, then you'll need power wire, rca's/ or a LOC / or an amp with high level inputs, fuse for power wire, a few runs of speaker wire depending on which route you are planning to go... then once you get that sounding nice, you'll want to get better fronts, then maybe a sub or two... new battery, heavier gauge wiring, sound deadening and so on and so forth

If your going to amplify the speakers do all of them not just the rears, my maxima came from the factory with an infinity sound system and it had a factory amplifier for the rear speakers and all you could hear were the rears then I got rid of the amp and I ca hear all 4 now, so amplify all of them so you get even sound
Alright Thanks guys, I would probably want to spend around $150-$200 dollars on this whole thing, in my car my door speakers are hooked up to the dash speakers and then to the deck, it's weird. But what speakers do you recommend for the side doors and the front ( I don't necessary need speakers in the very front).
lmao... sorry this was just too funny after pulling an all nighter
