no, it is bridged to 2 channels
+ - - + + - - +
red is the wires that are hooked up, and these wires are connected to only one side of the sub.
sub inputs are + + - - on one side and
+ + - - nothing connected on the other

eh? So you have just 2 speaker wires (one pair) connected to your amplifier?
And those same 2 speaker wires connect to just one pair of terminals on your sub?
And there are no jumpers or anything on the subwoofer? You are running just one coil on the subwoofer?

I wouldn't call it warm, just a lil over room temp. My plate amps and smaller amps heat up within 20 minutes and get too hot to touch. The Visonik never went past what I would call a little warm, even when it shut off once. It ran about as warm as my ***** .

oh and I also tried running wires from the other terminals of the sub on the side that is hooked up to the side that isnt and my amp superheated within about 2 minutes and shut off so i disconnected it.

Do I have this sub hooked up wrong if im only running 1 voice coil bridged into 2 channels?
