Well, I know the difference actually the KOLAK4 is for 2/1 channel amps and the 44 is for 4 channel amps, so I guess I need the KOLAK4, I was just wondering if I needed the 44 for that fuse block thing. You added for the fuse block to remember to get fuses, how many do I need and what amp?

Wow, it amazing at what a flame fag color does for sales, snicker. Actually you can use the lower of the two distribution blocks for both power and ground unless the amps do not have built in fuses.

I didn't mean you had to use those particular blocks ....they were just examples ....check out your local shops they should be able to help you out and if you buy the stuff from them they may even be willing to give you advuce on the install

I like to have fuses everytime the wire guage gets smaller, unless the main battery fuse is lower than what the smallest wire down the line requires.

The Rockford won't have a built in fuse.

What exactly does that mean for the install? Here is a link to the amp specs : 150a2 specs

Can you guys help me make a "shopping list", I'd like to get everythnig by next weekend. So far I know I want a 4-gauge amp kit, but what else?

[1]4 gauge amp kit
[1]4gauge to 8 guage unfused distribution block
[1]4guage to 8 guage fused distribution block
[2]30 amp fuses

that should do it you could go with 2 unfused blocks no problem as stated .........but I prefer fused blocks myself, especially since the rockford has no built in fuse

Damn, a few of the things I would need from Genuine Canadian Audio are ordered on an "as needed" basis, I want the stuff by this friday so I can do the install on the weekend. Is there any other good canadian audio websites I can order from? Please don't say I have to go to the overpriced stores here!!
