Amps under seat....
#1
Is this better for security? My friend got his 96 Cavalier broken into already and they got his subs and box. Hes afraid they will steal more next time. He had his amps on the back seat. Im wondering if we put the amps under his seat if it deturs thieves? Ecspecially if we have to unbolt the seat to take the amp out??

In general the harder it is to get at the better. Some thieves though get frustrated by hard to reach components and can wreck a surprising amount of the car trying to get at them..

I run both of my amps under the front seats of my civic. I installed them so that you need to remove the seats to get them out. Either that or you pry the heck out of the amps and wreck them. I've never had a problem with dirt or heat. They are hidden and perform well.
