K Just one more question, because of finances I'm gonna go witha an older alpine.
I have it narrowed doen to the 7969, and 7897.
They both have the fantom face which I was looking for, as well as having 4v preouts...etc.
I've heard really good thing about the 7969. although it's a few years old, it has great features, and still looks pretty good.
So what do you guys think?

 

If you dont care about the mp3, do the 7969. Sweet deck.

 

No experience with the 7894

but i say go with the 7969..

also has optical out so thats nice if you want the h700

Seems like everyone I asked prefers the 7969 over the 7897....I wonder why?
