Any amps that can regulate 200W X 4?

Hi, I'm planning to have component speakers in the front rated at 170W RMS, as well as one alpine type-r 1242 sub rated at 500W RMS. I would like to get one amp that can be bridged to send 400W to the sub as well as 200WX2 to the components, since I'm told they can take more then rated. Anyone know of an amp that can do this? I have only seen 150WX4 on my searches. If this is not possible I guess I will have to buy two seperate amps, one 2-channel 150X2 and one 400W-500W mono.

if you can find a 4 channel 100x4(easy),you can bridge it to a 2 channel 200x2
Then get an amp to run the sub

The closest I can think off hand right now is the Eclipse XA4000 at 125w rms x 4. Your better bet is going to be a large 2 channel and a mono.

Go with seperate amps or bridge a decent 5ch to get the power you desire. In 5ch models I've always been fond of the Memphis Belle's. The smaller Belle should fit your power requirements nicely.

Take a look at the Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.4. It produces 200x4 @ 1-4 ohms, so it would be awsome for your application. Not to mention that these amps are underrated and have so much potential

If you want Old School there's always the PPI PC 4800 power amp which does 200 wrms x4 @ 12.6v You should be able to get one off ebay for $200 at most.

Boss amps. eww.. 1000 x 2 ? for under $200!! I wonder if it can do have of it's rated power?

Mmmmm.....Belles.....

The 5 channel is 75 X 4 and a D-Class sub amp 1,100W@1ohm...with the front 4 bridged down to 2 channels, you've got all the power you asked for.

Crossfire makes one with roughly the same specs, I recall a used Kicker 3 channel for sale here a while ago that would be pretty close.

Yes a USAMPS XT1600.4 does 200x4 or 450x2. Very nice amp for that application. www.usamps.com
