hey its me again!!!im just wondering what will be louder and have SQ.Like 50/50
2 alpine type s 12" dual 2ohm wired to 2ohm on a mrp m500 amp
or
1 alpine type r 12" dual 4 ohm wired to 2 ohm on a mrp m500

Better depends on your ears and the box.....obviously twice the cone area is louder....after that it's all dependant on the enclosure.....

I would go for the dual drivers.....but that's just me.....

i'd prefer to have a smaller enclosure and one sub,
I had a Alpine type x with a mrp m1000
That crap was too whacked for my civic haha

 

hey thanks for all the help =) i think i will go with 2 alpine type s in a 2.0 cubic foot box with a slot port and displacement =) so each sub gets 1cubic foot of space.How is this?

 

Well, according to this link the recommended sizes are a little larger. The optimum box is usually a good starting point.....someone here with more experience with those woofers may have another idea for you.....
