West

Blaupunkt has cd players with a 10 second anti skip memory, this is in addition to the normally suspended laser transports that are common to all cd players. Ipod interfaces are also available for them.

Use a flash based iPod - 2-8GB of Anti-Skip!

But seriously, you must have some pretty bad pot holes.. I can't remember the last time skipping was an issue for someone looking at a deck for anything other than a dumb loud SPL system

ya i hate it when it just stops out of random and sometimes it won't play after i turn the car back on so i have to turn off my head unit and turn it back on and MAYBE it'll work... ya i saw somewhere that u can get a headunit that comes with a ipod cable that plugs in in the back and u don't need any bulky boxes like with the sony xplod units... i just can't member the brand... i'm lookin for somethin like that with a motorized face... suggestions anyone??

Pioneer Premiere DEHP690MP is the unit you should be looking at. IPOD and USB cables included.
