don't believe what they tell you or what you've heard. They are always trying to sell a subscription and if need be they tell you they are doing competitor profiles to sell you one. I know cause I've fallen for that scam and many of my other friends. Just some advise

Hmm, half the competitor profiles are of SPL competitors, and they feature good looking SPL vehicles when they are built. They have good coverage of SPL events (well better than any other mag out there). If you want SPL articles, why don't you write some articles and submit them?

Hmm, I just opened up a couple issues I have close by, Ken Lambert's SPL Astro fetured on page 54, then in competitor profiles I see, Michael Hughes, Mike Jones, Michael Mueller, Nathan Munson, Team Hertz, James Jean, Jay Lovelace, Jim Jean, Team Fast Forward (two of them), Horizon Audio, Jonathan Smith, Team Underground, Tony Lemert, Rodney Busch, Scott Owens, Scott Van Riper, Team Baldwin Creations, Team FX, Bassman and Danielle Mayes, Team Walrus, Anthony Lloyd, Ben Wenzell, Chris Norris, Chris Cecco, Roy French, Terry Jackson, Tommy McKinnie, Troy Irving and Jason Teves.
IN the other issue they have coverage of SBN and Speedorama.
As for feature articles on SPL cars, lets face it, even if most competitors gave you enough info and photo's of their vehicles to write a story, how many people want to look at ugly installs?
They used to do good coverage of the FS events. I wonder what happened, perhaps no one is submitting articles about their events. You can do that you know.

PAS used to do a great job of covering events, now it's just "we went to some shows, there were some cool cars made by the usual people, and we saw lots of girls and vendors" then there's 20 pics mostly of the exterrior of cars, and that's it. the rest of the magazine is 3 featured vehicles with 4 pages each and 250 pages of soft-core **** advertising
