hahaha...touche! Seriously though, like most large companies, JBL has their low end stuff like Alpine's s-series, and their high end GTI series a la Alpine's x series. Having just recieved and installed my C608 GTi set, I can honestly say that they really are very good. They're $700.00 components, so they better be! They do handle 150 rms, 600 peak, but I'm giving them 300 rms a side with very nice results...crazy midbass, and those tweeters are heavenly...ultra clean and no harshness...and they're pure titanium!
