I'm planning on running a set of JL Audio C5 components from a 100 RMS / channel amp.

I'm looking for sound quality (not volume) and accurate, punchy lows (not woofer level but around 65+ Hz).

Are the C5's a smart choice? Is there something better for the money? (They're approx $300 shipped).

i have the c5s in my front doors being ran off a mb quart dsc4125 and i feel they sound good for me, headunit is a alpine 9887, for the 200 bnib i paid for them i think there great.

 

How'd you get 'em for $200? Used?

 

bought them local and they wernt used they were bnib, guy never got around to installing them just lowballed him an offer.
