anyone heard of ultralink interconnects??

right now i have db link rca's in my car but the last car i bought came with ultralink rca's, triple sheilded.Does ultralink make good rca's, should i swap out the db link for the ultralink. The db link has some kind of short and makes a static noise sometimes.Would you rather have the front stage amp have a better set of rca's running to it or the bass amp?

Um...if you have a short...there will be no noise.
This sounds like a grounding problem. Changing to another set of RCAs will not fix this problem unless it is due to the RCA being damaged and touching somewhere on the car chassis.
Since you already own the second set of RCAs, give swapping them out a try. All you lose is a bit of your time.

well i don't know what happened, but after my friend installed my cap i noticed the rca's going to the front stage amp makes noise sometimes. If i wiggle around the rca the noise goes away.So instead of wiggling around the rca's everytime i drive my car i would rather just swap them.I think that he accidentally put a screw through it or something cause when i drive it makes a horrible static noise and another noise but if i drive around for 5 minutes the noise goes away.Like i said if i wiggle the rca the noise goes away right away, so thats why i think theres some kind of short, its not a ground problem.

Ultralink makes a fine RCA.
Wiggle the RCA? Where at the amp/processor? If so, the amp/processor most likely has a broken connection on the circuit board where the RCA connects. It will need resoldering.
Double and triple shielding makes for nice propaganda but it has little real value.
