I've got my stuff pretty much hooked up, and I wanted to test my subs out. The only thing is the deck is still putting out power to the speakers..and I know theres a setting on there to turn that off but I cant find it and I dont have the owners manual anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this? I did it before but it was so long ago I cant remember how.

come on guys ive already gone through all that. the users manual found on the internet says nothing about what I need help with, google doesn't either. does nobody else own, or install eclipse units?

 

ok...why not phone 1-800-421-1996 ask for Eclipse tech support...

 

apparently the preouts are always active, so there's something else wrong. I know its all hooked up the same way it was in my last car, the remote wire is connected but the amps wont turn on.

does anyone have any suggestions?

 

Don't know if you've tried this but on the Kenwood Excelon decks the setting for the internal amp is only available in standby mode....if you have an active source on it doesn't even show up.......
