I'm just wondering how many guys on the forum are sponsored. Maybe say who sponsors you as well to give them a bit of free publicity.

I've decided to ask the question becuase I see all these competitors from the US and Europe who get great deals on their products, if not free stuff.

Even the one's that aren't sponsored seem to have a 'special' relationship with manuf's so that they can get to test equipment before it has been released, or even before they choose to buy.

This kind of puts us at a disadvantage because I don't really know of many manufacturers up here, whereas there's a bunch in Europe and the US that regularly help out their competitors.

i think he's talking about spl cars.

it's pretty hard to get if u are canadian, only very few have got it.

if u are in the street class, forget it.

 

Nah.. I mean anyone. I'll admit that I mostly care about SPL cars, but it's still interesting to see what some of the SQ guys have to offer.

If you do get some help make sure it's with something you will stand behind. Don't take something because it's a deal or free when you know it's a POS..........

 

I would think it would be even harder for you canadians to get a sponsership being outside of the US. Do you have any manufacurers there?

I don't think there are any SPL companies. There are a few SQ/daily companies though.

We had a thread about them a while ago, but I can't seem to find it right now.

It shure would be nice if an SPL oriented company came along. There just might not be enough business around here to make it worthwhile though.
