SQ Component Speaker - $500 budget
I'm looking to purchase a new set of 6.5" and 5.25" component speakers which will be powered off an RE AUDIO XTX 800.4
RMS Power (4Ω@14.4V): 60 W x 4
RMS Power (2Ω@14.4V): 90 W x 4
RMS Bridged Power (4Ω): 180 W x 2
SN Ration: < 90 dB
THD: 0.05 %
Efficiency: 80 %
Frequency Response: 10 Hz to 30 KHz(+/-1 dB)
I'm looking for a SQ geared set of components under $500 a piece.
I will have a 600wrms 10" sub for bass
I listen to mostly rap/hip-hop
Brands I've looked into are MB Quart, Focal, Infinity, Hertz, Morel, Eclispe - I will be buying online and won't have the opportunity to listen to each brand - what component speakers can you recommend based the info given.
Thank you,
Marc

Stay away from inifinity and eclipse... Stay high end with morel focal and hertz..
I'd also suggest the dotech ovations from morel. Very nice speakers. Focal is very expensive and will be tough to find new retail what you might expect from the other speakers mentioned. Take a look at the hsk hi energy from hertz as well.
Also recommend the hybrid audio clarus

I was browsing woofersetc.com and WOW there are SO many brands to choose from. They entry level Rainbow and ARC components sets for a good price.
I found these:
Tweeter Type: Inverted Dome
Tweeter Material: Aluminum
Woofer Cone Material: Fiberglass
Woofer Surround Material: Butyl
Crossover Type: 12/12dB/oct (300Hz-4kHz)
Sensitivity (dB): 90
Frequency Response (hz): 55-20
RMS Power Handling (watts): 80
Peak Power Handling (watts): 160
Impedance (ohms): 4
I'm installing them in a 93 Toyota 4Runner I was thinking of putting the 6.5 and tweeter in a Q-Form kick panel and then the 4" in the factory speaker location in the dash.
What' do you think?

How do those Focal 165A3 compared to a set of MB QUART PVL 216 6.5" 2-way compo's?
Tweeter Design Dome
Tweeter Composition Silk
Woofer Composition Polypropylene
Woofer Surround Rubber
Peak Power Handling 140 watts
RMS Power Handling 70 watts
Sensitivity 87 dB
Frequency Response 38 - 32,000 Hz
Impedance 4 ohms
These have a better sensitivity rating and wider frequency response? And are cheaper to boot(probably because the Focal's include a 4")!

I use Alpine SPX 17PRO's it's a good set up I think. There's many out there...just need to search out what's best for your budget and system. Feel free to ask for any options your concidering and there's always someone on here (CCA) that will help
