spend less money on tweeters and more on midbass units.... thats were all the critical sound comes from, not the tweeters or subs. but since i have heard all those tweets, try listening to a set of morel supremo or diamond audio... very very nice and 1/3 the price....

Hi, I need tweeters because my old ones blew. My midbass are the Rainbow profi vanadium 6.5 kickbass version. And IMO the tweeters plays a large role on the vocals/soundstage so I would disagree with you on the critical sound part.

Isnt the morel supremo a large format tweeter? and which diamond audio one were you recommending?

have you tried the tweeters I have mentioned? I wanna be different but sound good doing it.

I disagree with all of it, I don't think tweeters or midbass are the most important, midrange covers the broadest spectrum...makes it the most important IMO, the peerless HDS is the best tweeter I've heard....just my opinion of course.

...pretty tough to pick a "best" when none of your system is listed?
the best might not sound the best if its not matched properly with the rest.

I love the DLS UR1, great on or off axis about $140 a pair.

Well if you need to know the rest of the system the mids are the rainbow profi vanadium kickbass set as mentioned, and the sub is a xxx.

I need loud enough tweeters while maintaining clarity. Hiquphon are another choice, but I know nothing about those larger format ones.

My budget is $200-300 for the tweeters, but will spend more if its worth it.
