You will need to put on several layers to get the same kind of coverage as most matts.... they are also pretty messy to use.....

Terrence, go into Phantom and talk to Dan about X-terminator (I know you know him well). He will give you an honest opinion on it, he sells both Accumat and X-terminator.

Its not that messy to work with and unlike Haunz is saying you can get the same or better coverage in only one coat as a layer of mat.

Hi Jon, i do speak with Dan almost everyday and he has nothinbg but good things to say about xterminator, he even will give me a good price on it.I am just curious if anyone else uses it and the results they got.Jon, would xterminator be good to seal of my doors as well or should i go with the accumat for the doors.I will most likely get Dan to put in the xterminator for me but was looking for others who use it.I know its good but will it be good for me is what i wonder.I knew this thread would get your attention Jon

We use it at our shop all the time, and one of the reasons is the fact that it is so easy to clean up, as well as not tar smell!

If your looking for another thumbs up well you just got it

Have you ever used Xterminator?

Or rather.. what liquid deadeners have you used before to claim that they ALL will need several layers, and are messy to use.

Just wondering where you got your info from.

Yeah go see dan, he is working on my truck with it, he says its easier to reach in the corners and get right up in areas where its hard to get the mat in. It is true u need more layers, but i think it works out the same....dan will just tell you about the transformer car! it sounded awsome

I'm interested to hear if anyone has used ArmorThane or a similar product, and how it would compare to any other liquid deadener.

Anyone?

I haven't used exterminator... so no, I can't comment on ALL liquid deadeners. But I have used
five or so different brands for deadening and undercoating my last three cars.... And they all seemed to be about the same consistancy to me...

Most recently I used some rockguard brand (from canadian tire) to supplement the deadening I put in my trunk. The spray on stuff is good for the reasons Intimate mentioned.... but I'd never do a whole trunk or any large area with it alone....
