In the past, I've always used the "key coffin" type of bypass for Ford PATS. Anyhow, I've got a programmable bypass here, and was going to try using it on my own car (2000 Grand Marquis) Anyone have experience with these. Do they work as well as the cracked off key?

we only use the programmable modules. quite a few of them have doorlocks, and other features tied right into them. makes the job way easier.

There are very few vehicles I use the jewellry box for. There is typically a module (lots of them datawire now) that work GREAT. On top of it, many of them do park lamps, door triggers, locks, turn on defrost, heated seats, etc....

I have yet to find a jewellry box that does all that! Failure rates don't seem to be enough for me to worry about....
