I was just wondering if most people had their audio installs insured. I just finished spending a wack of cash one mine and my insurance company refuses to cover it.
If anyone knows of a good company that will cover an expensive stereo in calgary please let me know.

They should, but it costs extra. I just got my renewal in the mail and it cost me $75 a year for coverage up to almost $4000. But as time goes on, from what i understand they depreciate the value. All i had to do was give them a list of my equipment and serial #'s,,no reciepts or stuff like that. I also sent pics to them which they said helped alot. Anything to prove what you got.

That's what I figured, calling around I got quotes from 70 to 500 extra a year for coverage. I'm not sure why rbc insurance won't.

in ontario, insurance companies are required by law to cover up to 1200, but then your deductable comes out of that amount.

I'd just make sure you got serial #'s and stuff...

mine has like 1500 buck limit on electronics or someting... so i'm gonna have to find a second add on policy..
