Audiobahn AW1205N or Premier TS-W3001D4 ? Which one is better ....

 

Better for WHAT?

Using as a spare jack-stand... the Audiobahn.

Using as an old boat anchor... the Pioneer.

I dont know why people think Pioneer is crap , I have seen this guy at a Competition with 2 Pioneer Premier TS-W 3004 SPL and he won the competition 157.1 DB powered by a Orion HCCA-D5000 amplifier . I dont know alot about Audiobahn subs but Pioneer has made some seriously nice a** subs but i dont know about the new ones such as the Premier TS-W3001D4 so thats why im pretty curious ... Something that could beat to Alpine Type R's .....

IS this setup good Premier TS-W3001D4 powered by a Kicker ZX750.1 amp @ 2 ohms
The amp is 750 watts @ 2 ohms ?

How much power? What type of box? Do you want it to be as loud as possible or sound as good as possible?

Ask appropriate questions and you'll get good answers

 

Loud as possible , Ported Box 1.5 cubic feet and to power it im using a Kicker ZX750.1 amp @ 2 ohms ? Any suggestions ? The Pioneer Sub is 1000 watts RMS and same with the Audiobahn but for some reason i have a feeling Pioneer kills Audiobahn lol ........ BTW the car is a 2003 Mercedes S500

 

Well, I vote for Pioneer, but if I had a Mercedes, I would have an image to uphold, and get something more exotic. It's like having a 2 million mansion and driving a Lada. No class...

 

Go with the Pioneer... for sure...

 

You can go much bigger on the box if you want, you can get some nice low end extension out of the Champion series subs. I had 1 12 in a 3 cu.ft box, sounded great.
