AUX in concerns, Shaker 1000's and audio problems.

AUX in concerns, Shaker 1000's and audio problems.
Hey everybody, I'm looking to get a Mazda RX8 but it seems that none of them have AUX in which is a huge deal for me. Are there any alternatives WITHOUT having to resort to FM transmitters (I hate these damn things, never work well) or having to replace the head unit with another faceplate/video deck that has one standard (There isn't really a cavity for anything on these vehicles, and doing such modifications look like they would leave a big mess.
What I mean by alternatives is, is there something that can be sort of hardwired into the back of the unit, or some kind of splitter cable that will connect to the previous wiring. Or maybe there is another easier way that I'm not sure of, please let me know?
Topic 2: Shaker 1000 systems on Mustang vehicles. Is anyone familiar with this system? Apparently its the top of the line for what they offer for Mustangs, but I've never heard this (Brand?) before. I'm not even sure if its a premium brand name or if it just signifies all the included subs (which honestly doesn't support the music I usually listen to...) Can this system compare to Boston Acoustics that would come standard on Camaro SS models, or is this just "premium" crap?
Topic 3: Start up car, radio/cd music comes on for 5 seconds, stops. Rinse and repeat. Full power is still throughout the car and it does this same process consistently every time the engine is started. Any advice?
Topic 4: Bang and Olufson... Worth buying an Audi for?

What year is the RX-8? Does it have a changer or sirius radio? I'll look into it.
Is this shaker on a brand new stang? Shaker isnt a brand its just fords fancy name for their amplified system. I have experience with the MACH 460 and MACH 500 for the older ones.
Try to reset the deck. There should be a small button probably behind the faceplate that if you hold for 30 seconds or so. You'd have to press it with a pen of similar.
I don't know if Lexus is still doing the Mark Levinson system but they rocked pretty good. Never heard the Bang and Olufson but it looks Impressive.
