I hear that the AVICN2 can not be bypassed in order to view video whilst driving except for viewing on additional screens. Any truth to this rumour. When I put this on my showroom board will I have issues? Feel free to PM me if you don't wish to post.

^ From what I hear, Clarion and Eclipse are that way this year as well and I thought Alpine had the motion sensor last year already? [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

The AVIC-N2 has tied front seat video playback to the gyro sensor in the navigation computer. This will not affect it's operation on the display board as the unit won't be moving.

Contrary to popular belief, this is not a bad thing. Pioneer doesn't want to be the reason that people are killed on our roads. There was already an incident in Alaska & unless the manufacturers, retailers & installers do the right thing, in-dash monitors could be banned altogether.
