IMO, Zapco makes some of the best amps I've ever heard..
What is the deal with Rodek? Friend of mine had one in his civic. I never heard of Rodek. His amp went in for repair three times.. but it was loud as hell. He blew components on a regular basis with it.

Where is this shop with the NIB Rodek? I had 3 different Rodek amps. A 4x25, 2x50, and the high current 2x24. They were sweet.
As for info about them they were a Canadian company that built some good amps, don't know why they disapeared but they won all three comparison reports in Car Audio back in the day. Maybe it was a conspiracy by the Americans to bury the company like the Avro Arrow [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Zeff is one of the oldest guys in the business................. one of those guys that basically created car audio as we now know it today. He has designed/built a little bit (or a lot in some cases) of everything for everyone in the industry from what I've heard and seen. He is now exclusive to Arc and designs all their stuff. Yes he was also Mr. Zapco.
Ark was built by Noah. Duck, you went to Sunday school and knocked nickers with the nuns............ you should know that sort of thing cold now.

Not that many of you are even within 3-5 hours from here, but Soundshapers in Brewer, ME is awesome. I started going there 10 years ago, and I have become very good friends with them over the years. I would not have become such good friends with them if they had not treated me well as a customer. Now I get treated VERY well on prices(equipment and install). [img]smile.gif[/img]

What???!!! ARK amps are not made by Zapco so $900 is not a good deal for a ARK 4 channel amp and they won't be better in SQ compared to the kicker ZR 240's I had?
Who is feeding you this stuff............???? As I noted above, the Ark was made by Noah. Arc Audio Amplifiers are designed and built by the Robert Zeff people. Zeff is exclusive to Arc Audio. Zapco used to be owned by the people that now are Arc Audio. There is no relationship between the two companies in any way now......... ZERO. End of story [img]graemlins/boring.gif[/img]
