There was an article in The Province newspaper this morning on it as well.

This "should" enable them to come out and be stronger than ever if that article is correct.

In my opinion the only ones who will be affected in a negative way because of this will be their vendors.

It is a fact that they filed for bankruptcy protection.

It is speculation that nothing will change....most likely nothing will.

If you read the protection filing you will see that the company that might buy A&B is going to keep the name...I would be suprised if people outside of the industry will even be aware of any transitions that happen.

what I have been told from a insider is they are going to scale the company down to 7-9 stores only.

Two in Alberta Edmonton South and Calgary N.E.

The rest in B.C.

This is what I was told by a higher up at A&B.
