Backround Hummmm

Hey, i was jsut woundering if anyone knew what caused backround hummm in subs...no of my other speakers have it jsut the subs.

don't know..lol... i'm running them with a Legacy Series II 2 channel 600W amp

check your grounds, maybe toasted a preout [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Try the amp on another car, if it goes away then there is somthing interfering with the amp. If not then throw the amp away . Id check the ground wire 1st and see if it is fit proper to the amp and to the body of the car.

Thanks, It was the ground... I figured it was a cheap amp.. I only paid 20 bucks for it and it does what i need it to do for now. My ground was alittle crusty... Cleaned her up and solved the problem. Thanks.
