There has been a lot of discussion about batteries here and if you did a search I'm sure you will learn more than I can provide in one post.

Is it for starting? A second one in the trunk for the system?

Hawker, Red + Yellow Tops, Excide are good names right off the top.

ya its for under the hood..
the stock battery isnt good enough...need to get something better.

exide orbital extreme duty...... killer battery... you can get em at your local canadian tire... and they are on sale i think too..... 164 or something like that.... 950 cca as well...

I use optima for everything I can. Its the best for the money. If you cant afford a yellow top Optima go for a red top. As long as its a Gel-Cel battery I think you will be fine. Just compair the Cold Cranking Amps on the batteries that you find and then compair that against the price.

You will find a happy ending somewhere.
