The battle begins!

The host of Overhaulin' Chris Jacobs, car has arrived at our shop all the way from LA. Now the trick is to get the audio build done for Sport Compact Nights on May 6. Hope everyone will get a chance to come out and see us reveal it to him there. We have a really cool Exile Audio system going in to it.

Wow, good for you guys! He brought his car all the way from LA (with a TON of audio shops to choose from) to Calgary for you guys to work on? That's quite a compliment. And props for his choice of car too Not really diggin' the rims but I understand the retro Mopar thing he's going for. I'm disappointed its not an SRT8? For how cheap those things are down there (same MSRP as an R/T is up here) and for what he must make on that show, I'd expect he would have an SRT8.

I got a question for you: how did you guys manage to snag working on Overhaulin'? With as many shops as there are in SoCal, what brought about them choosing to use a shop from Calgary?

We met the producers at SEMA 2 years ago, and basically bugged them via e-mail until they asked us to come play. As far as the shops in SoCal go....we've seen a lot of what they have to offer now and I can tell you, it is no different than here. There are good and bad installers everywhere. They've had there fair share of bad on the show.
