7949. Just my oppinion, I love the layout and the SQ is unmatched by any Alpine deck. The 7990 don't touch it...in second is the D855 and if you have never heard one, you'll never understand what I'm talking about. Third is the 7909, another of the best layout's I've ever seen, very simple, yet unmatched quality for it's time.
The 7990 is great with the H900, it's a much better combo than the P9 for layout, it's much easier to use, IMO. The P9 confused me. But the 7990 on it's own doesn't match any of those 3 decks I listed SQ wise. It sounds great for sure, but I wouldn't pay 5K for it....maybe for the 7990 AND the h900, but not just the 7990.
