Does anyone know anything about the brand Bear Mountain Audio?
The amps specs look alright, prolly overrated.
I'm looking for a set of amps for my front stage and for the price 2 of these might be an option.

http://www.thecarstereo.com/product/...duct=AP2C01795

Power Output @ 4 Ohms: 170W x 2CH
Power Output @ 2 Ohms: 240W x 2CH
Power Supply Consumption (Bridged RMS): 35A
Fuse Rating: 20Ax2

Does anyone have experience with this brand?

Waaaaaaaay over rated specs from what I gather. Either this is the most efficient amp in history to make that much power from 40 amps of fusing in that amplfier or all the other amplifiers in this industry with 40 amp fuses only make on average of 75w x 2 rms @ 4ohm. Wonder which one is correct, I'll go with the latter.

Specs on the site could be wrong who knows.

But im guessing the numbers are crap. Probably more like 170wrms at 2ohms at 14.4v MAYBE lol.

Weak internals, inefficient heatsink. I wouldn't waste my money.

Looks like just another typical piece of junk to me. Thats just my opinion though, I've never tried it, nor would I.

The store itself, seems to sell low end stuff.

Well they sure are pretty.
BMA thread on SIn

The 2x20 amp fuse is a typo .. mine came with a single 60 amp fuse.

I haven't tested the amp however.

He already did and posted on soundillusions

Not much to look at if you ask me. The only thing they have going for them is the glass cover and spade-less terminals.
