I almost hate to admit it but "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" by Culture Club and "True" by Spandau Ballet are great 80's sq songs.
btw... nowhere was it mentioned about "SQ" in the selections of songs, just about what was considered the best songs ... which is a huge personal preference!

but yes you are correct spandau ballet had pretty damn good sound to their TRUE track... same with many of Supertramp's tracks from the 70's... school by far is my favorite along with american breakfast

go to youboob and watch the race by sawyer brown, then download it on a bit torrent and play it in your car with the volume cranked.. awsome...
