AGM isn't really a deep cycle by design, it can be made to go deep but the gel-cells do a much better job. Besides a deep cycle is not a good choice as an everyday automotive battery anyway. An AGM is a good compromise design that is spill proof, makes good CCA, good CA, recharges lickity split, goes pretty deep (AH), and is relatively shock proof. That is why Sears and Optima and Northstar have specific automotive batteries so that they can excel, and then be warrantied, for all the challenges in the environment.
You can use a deep cycle for automotive purposes and many do successfully, it just isn't a perfect option for everything a car battery may be asked to do (like start the car and do SPL burps).
Again I am not bad mouthing the NSB90 is is a dB drag favorite and has proven itself, it just isn't an automotive battery (and if you can get one at $200 CA that is a buy)
at that price id be inclined in getting myself a couple. I know their not optimal for dd like the pms and 2150s but their also roughly double the price.
