Best part about having a daily setup

so for a while now I've been sans le subs due to never getting the time to build a box, but its made me realize how much I miss my bass. which brings me to this thread, whether you're an sq guy, a spl guy, big box store or so custom you have a spoiler on your amplifier, if you've got a daily setup, what aspect of having that setup do you like the most? whether its bass, crazy highs, the fun of punking people at tim hortons, whatever, just let us know

and let me say this now. if you're an old guy whos gonna read some kid say he loves when people cover their ears and you reply thats the problem with you young whippersnappers, no respect. in my day we had respect for others and blah blah blah, don't bother. theres a beef section, take your pants around your chest and your problems with today's youth there. thanks.

well I guess I'll get this started. the thing I love the most is baiting someone into a little showdown at the stop light just to see the look on their face when a minivan makes them look dumb. that and, taking a page from the book of Mr. David Joseph and dropping a 51 hz tone before the light turns green lol

If your visiting a friends house, they always know when your coming, no need to phone...
Having the ladies smile and sway down the street/beach when you're playing dance tunes.
The best one lately was when a friend told us that the soffit on Tim Hortons rattles and shakes before we even turn it down and get off the road and into the parking lot.

#1 fun reason - drowning out country music playing farmboys...

I've always said "Who needs to knock, when you have BASS!!!"

I simply like "loud & clear". Having it in a minivan, that smokes most local systems makes it that much more fun, lol.

I use to like having loud bass and come across dancing girls or girls in the cars in front singing to the lyrics oh whatever I was listening to and smiling at me.

It was also cool when at a stop light once, some girl was half a sleep holding her head with her hand and then BANG turn on the 18incher and the bass hit along with all the panel vibrations...the girl didn't know what was going on, almost had a heart attack.

I don't do that anymore. Although the other day a small car with 4 young ladies in front of me kept turning around and starring and giggling at the red light... probably because I was listening to some very un-manly like music loudly with the windows down hehehe.

I had this happen the other day to me as well. I don't know why they would be laughing at the 40+ year old guy with the Hamster dance playing at 142+ dbs. LOL

About a month ago I was driving behind (who I thought was) my neighbor. He was driving 40 in a 50 so I paused the radio, turned it up, unpaused, and as soon as I did, he hit his brakes, pulled over and started to adjust his hearing aid. lol Then he got out his car, and looked at all 4 tires and got back in. lmfao

It was priceless....
