What sort of music are you interested in? Could go Madonna for quality of sound, Could go Alanis for the angry chick and bad singing thing.. Could go Emenem for the comedic burst of boing boing boing as you go down the street. Throw in a little Korn topped with Ozzy and you have a good show of your stereo's capability with some high energy driving down the highway. If you just want a good BOOM. Toss in a test pattern CD. 
I need some boundries or I'm all over the place.
My guess is you are trying to put together a list of songs to throw onto a CD. I'd say Ozzy's newest CD and Disturbed's older one and Korn. But that's my taste.

-U2s Numb (has 5+ levels of bass but most systems can't play it all)

- Ace of Spades - Motorhead
- If you can handle bad techno something by 808 state (warning can kill a low end stereo with sub sonic bass)
- Some Biggy Smalls (It's 'in' again)
- Guns n roses November rain. (Good quality sound systems can play the rain drops well)
- Mindless Self Indulgence-2 hookers and an eightball
- Poe albums are great but not really stereo pounders.
- Sneaker Pimps Underground
- Amon Tobin Saboteur
- Portishead - Sour Times
