Well not according to me it's not. Now if you ask my wife well that's another question. I could be doing worse, and more expensive things with my time like buying a lot of car audio components which get used for a limited time then collect dust in the basement. Oh wait, I do that to. Crap well at least i'm not not looking at porn.........today.

My wife feels your wife's pain.....or something like that......:dunno:

Apparently taking the stuff out of the basement and putting it in her "grocery wagon" is a good way to keep her calm.....:D

Okay, further to my question I will be building the box shortly. The sub will face the rear of the vehicle. The box will be as close to the rear seats as possible. I was thinking of putting in a piece of mdf to seal the rest of the trunk from the subwoofer. Would this help direct the bass in to the cabin instead of losing it in the trunk. Please see my crappy drawing to see what I mean.

Slot loading a driver like that is more effective when the enclosure is inside the passenger compartment. A good example is a down-firing console style box for a pickup truck or similar vehicle with limited space behind the seat and an empty space between front bucket seats.

Firing your box right to the back of your trunk will actually help with sub output, getting the sound into the cab is more an issue for the back deck ie. removing any rear deck speakers or cutting a new hole in the middle of the rear deck.

If you want, I will PM you the dimensions tommorow night. (I'm not on the computer that has Sketch-up on it)

I would love to have the dimensions, I want to build this box exactly the way you did to replace my really crappy, incorrectly-sized one.
