asking people around here for help or advice, then trashing a brick and mortar establishment, without giving any reason is not the greatest way to get help. Many members on here, (not myself) and other audio boards work in these very shops, and might take offense to being called hacks for lack of a better word.

If you have a good reason not to want to take your car to FS, then ok, but without explaning it doesn't look that good. especially since you are roping them in all together.

just my two cents.

the dealerships tell the customers to stay away from there and send them to me
you have to be a hack to earn the name hack

Here we go bashing FS again.

You know, I have seen a lot of crap from both big box and indys. Most of guys around have worked for AB/FS so maybe instead of blowing your mouth off ASK!!! I have no idea how close you are to Calgary but take a ride to Northland FS and talk to Shawn. As for Best Buy????, News Flash!!!!!! It is the same company therfore same policies. I am sick of you know it alls asking for help then bashing it......INSTALL IT YOUR BLOODY SELF if it is soooo easy!!!!!

I have been working in the indy for over 15 years for big names companys but now that I work at FS I am a Hack??? If you are going to call me a HACK, I would sugest you come out and tell it to my face, I would LOVE that!!

</font>
What the hell are you talking about hiring new guys??? Can you Install on a pro level??? NO!!! People like you talk about it like you know but when push come to shove it is easier to hide behind your monitor!!! The biggest issue to the indy is that the guys that can do it are leaving and we are finding it harder and harder to replace them.......THAT's why we hire "new" guys, in a hope that we can train them up as soon as possible. Hey, maybe instead of just talking about and slagging people you do not know you could come down and try out to see if you could do it for a living. You asked where to take your car? I gave you a contact for a good solid Tech. If you do not want the advice then do NOT waste time and web space and try it yourself, I sure your insurance company will cover for fire loss. Then you can post some nice pictures so the rest of your type can slag you.
