I heard a rumour that some sanctioning bodies wanted to outlaw the crx in some classes, anyone heard that one?

no that will never happen , the winner of this year street A did it in a SUV , besides its all about your box not the car , i saw a fiat panda a little while ago , good call ROB

Well if you're looking to go true all out SPL it can be a little difficult to balance true all out SPL machine with a family daily driver IMO...

good advice guys, probably stay in the street classes, and likely no wall. lots of civics around here, i think thats what im going to look for. should also be pretty cheap

^^^ or any small hatch back that you can get for fairly cheap and dump the rest of the money into gear and supplies.

I have had good success in the past with my RX-7 and this year my beater 4 door hatchback Chev Citation did quite well and earned me a few 1st places finishes.

i can't stress this enough....

VW'S RULE!!!!
even if they don't have the same magic shape as the CrappyRX's do, they still are solidly built and CAN get really loud. plus you also get a more reliable daily driver out of it. less mech. problems to worry about. my golf has done wonder this year, and hey i took it to finals and back with no problems.

i would really love to see more VW competing but i guess people haven't discovered the german secret yet...the euro's are doing amazing numbers with vw right now so why shouldn't we?
