lol it doesnt. I would just like to keep the bass IN my car so I can hear it and not everyone I drive past hearing it at the same level as what im hearing. Im sure it will increase my sq majorly due not only to that but reduced rattling.

Check our classifieds, there was someone on here selling some decent deadener (similar to Dynamat) for a good price. I just can't remember their user name. It was several months back. He had lots FS.

thats true for sq I suppose, but I find its all the little things like your dome lights and cupholders that create the biggest noise distraction. as for people outside, honestly I could care less, which is probably why I drive with my windows down when the weather is nice. I just think its ridiculous that people complain about my stereo when the other day on my way home from work I heard the excess noise from a set of earbuds in someone's ears while on the platform waiting for the train...on the other platform. I mean college station is pretty wide, so they were loud to say the least, and I don't know about you but I'd rather hear bass than what sounds like a bunch of mosquitos.

I thought all that stuff used to be asphalt based and only recently have they started using butyl...i think the lower end non extreme and stuff like fatmat is still asphalt...someone correct me if i'm wrong...

yes there is an aluminum foil on one side...go check it out ...they have little samples on display at rona....

If you can afford it the brand name stuff is definately better....
