I can just hear it when the volume is turned down. And I believe its only when the ipod is the source. Not sure though, I will have to check. I paid to put it in. Its just annoying knowin its there. Ya know?? I paid $650 to put it all in and you would think the guy might have suggested what I would need to elimate the background noise.

 

It is mostly just annoying.

 

Hmm I would go back and ask him, With the price you payed he better know what the problem is.

while the ipod is plugged into the ipod adapter. It charges while plugged in.
