is it big job to install 6.5 speakers in a 6x9 hole?

is it big job to install 6.5 speakers in a 6x9 hole?

i know someone who's selling 4 jbl speakers, 6.5, but my rear slots are 6x9. i dont want to use an adapter because id have to cut holes in the speaker cover. is their any way i could fit them in without cutting up the actual slot? or is that my only option.

you could mont the adapter under the hole. like the factorys sit on the top while you could screw yours from under.
