I cant remeber my log in but this is not lauf it is orion.

well I have just been playing with the new Blaupunkt overdrive subwoofers and I must say how impressed I am with the sound quality and just the over all output from this woofer. For those people that dont know the woofer has a mounting depth of 2.2 inches (perfect for in doors) I put this sub in a 1.5 cube box that I pulled my DD 2512 out of and did a straight drop in, the only variable is that the DD ran the amp at 2 ohm where the Blau runs the amp at 4 ohm. The sound quality was a huge surprise and the low end extension was incredible. This woofer moves alot!!! Once you see the woofer you will not think that it can move at all but it really does!!! For the people that just need it to pound and dont really care about SQ this woofer I think would take my DD 2512.
Just my 2 cents on some new technology to hit the market..... oh and it is neodymium so that is the newer technology wich blau has just run away with.

If they made a 15, I'd hit it.

I cant wait to test em out at the shop if we get some in. They are definitely application specific drivers.

I would not say they are application specific

I would say they can work in alot more applications aswell as the standard sealed/ported boxes.

Honestly you won't belive it till you hear one!

Cool, do they also come in 8" drivers?
Those would be cool to stick in the doors/panels of my car!
