I have done alot of them (well 4-5 per year). What kind of truck and I can maybe give you some tips.

its going in to a 2001 s10 two s10l7 :headbang:and 2 kx1200.1 i know there will be lots of room.... whats your ideas

TWO KX1200.1's. Daaaammn thats gonna be overkill. Your gonna need the blow through just to have the room to mount those amps.
If the box is secure and covered by a tonneau I say bed carpet kit, mount amps, batts and caps in the box with some mirrored backing and accent lighting. Have the top of the blowthrough box done in Lexan or Mylar with a peek window cut in the shape of the Kicker amp end caps.
I am assuming this is a regular cab pickup although the idea could still apply to an ext-cab.
Adam if you want I can sketch out my idea and fax it to you tomorrow maybe.

The inmportant thing is to use a high quality accordian boot. It costs alot, but you just pass that on to the customer. Make sure you paint over any bare metal from cutting. Make the seem for the boot on the bottom and cut one side a little long in the accordian part, a little longer than the pinch part, then tuck it under the accordian part it butts against. This will keep water out, but still allow sater to drip out and not collect in the bottom of the boot.
Oh yeah and when doing the cutting I mark the top of the cuts from insude the cab and the bottom from the bed. Go slow and either clamp or shim when you have most of it cut to keep the panels from vibrating alot. Also make sure not to use cardboard for a trim panel, a competitors shop did that in the Hat and when the customer found out about it they were very unimpressed.

kool thanks for the info now where do you get that accordian boot can i get it from a boat shop in kelowna or is there a better place...

PLaces that sell truck toppers generally carry it. I have seen prices from $7-$10 a foot for it, but found a local shop that sells it to me at cost.
