Brahma Amp??

What is the best choice amp for a single 15"Brahma.
I don't even have in a box yet so suggestions please.

I'm going with an Eclipse 8445 HU
Everything else in my car is PG. (amps, EQ, line drivers, caps, cables, distubution blocks, speakers, tweeters etc..I mean everything.)

What enclosure is the driver going into and what do you want out of the bass end when it's finished?

I havent decided on the enclosure that is why I am asking for some advice...since i have speaker selectors in my car this sub is only going in there for pure Spl.

I already run 2 10"Pg ti's & 2 12" Pg ti's strictly for Sq

I just want the Brahma switched on for Pure pounding.

With the 8445 going in, eliminate all of the line drivers as they will no longer be needed. The fewer times you manipulate the signal, the better off you will be. Same with the EQ, you are probably not going to need it any more either.

Cancellation becomes a major issue if you're thinking about running the Brahma in the same frequency range as other drivers.
Why not just build a bottom end that has beautiful SQ properties togethor with all the output you want as well? That would be my recommendation.

If you could get your hands on a x1200.1 or wait a month or so I know the new Radial SD PG amps are coming. Its nice to keep it one brand and definately nothing wrong with the PG products. A little high priced but nice

If I was buying a new amp PG wouldn't be anywhere near the top of my list no matter what my price range was. I sold PG years ago and had a hardon for it but they lost my support in their products. Let's hope for PG's sake their new Radial line is more reliable than their previous few years (and they better perform decent because they look ugly as hell).

I've had zero issues with my PG stuff..although I have mostly haveTi series & Zx..I do also have some 12" xenons & 5 1/14 xenons..no problems there either..I personally love PG...just not to keen on the Octanes.

But I need a amp to push my 15" Brahma....I was thinking xenon 1200.1 but wanted others inputs....ideally yes I would like everything to stay PG but since I tossed in the Brahma somethin else could also be. The amp will be hidden though so everything looks
PG except the Brahma.

The ZXti's were the last series of PG amps that I felt confident in.

Anyways, if you're dead set on adding the Brahma to the pair of 12's and 10's you currently run (and again I would truly prefer you build a better bottom end instead of having to switch over like you're planning - ie. you could drop the pair of 12ti's and add a second Brahma 15" and run the pair of Brahma
15's in a ported application with proper power and it should be loud enough for even the deafest of ears) then look for an amp ~1200-1500rms in your budget. I'm guessing you have the standard D2 VC version so you have lots of choices. A RF T10001 would be great and do at least 1400rms+ just as one example.
