I have been told that Pioneer decks produce clearer sounds and are better than other decks in terms of sounds...

I am mainly looking at a deck with a sub-out, has to have Mp3, WMA is optional but nice to have..graphics is a must and also what type of brand would u guys recommend that will be worth to get?

btw how is Kenwood? any good?

Alpine CDA9835.

Triple 4 volt Pre-Outs,
MP3/WMA,
Time Correction 6 channel
V-Drive = 26wrms CEA. 33wrms bench tested
MX Media Expander
Bass Engine
i-Personalize = Downloadable settings
5Band Parametric EQ
BioLite Display
Motorized Angled, detacheable faceplate
Remote

I compete USACi with 4" Type S Coaxials in front & 6.5 " Type R Coaxials in the rear running off the 9835 deck power in a 4x4. I do well and usually place top 3. I can only give the credit to the HU.

Do a search. A few members have this unit and seem to like it. I love mine.

I have been running mine for about three weeks now, I am very happy. With the EQ, you can preset 6 different curves, so once you have a few different ones setup, you can just select the one you want. Very flexible crossover section, even makes my crap speakers work within their limits, and sound their best. Nice player.

Derecks drunk posts are special events like New Years and Christmas.

I dont know who would say Pioneer is superior to all others unless they sell or own Pioneer. All decks meet their price point. Simply find the deck with the features you want and at the price you want. (wma, MP3, and graphics is a must???) it doesnt sound like SQ or SPL is your priority so the usual suspects are eliminated... but I am guessing you have a budget constraint too.

Gotta love the ALPINE CDA-9835. Had no problems with it except that it skips or something when i break around 148-153db. But on an every day basis. Its perfect and love everything about it. I paid 500 flat for it at the shop here in town but you could get it for 435 at www.nexxon.com
