Build my set-up ($1000 - $1500)
I have the exact same car as you, if u want a nice setup pm me, ur looking at 1500-1700 installed, and this is a complete setup with install, 2 amps, 2 subs, box, front speakers, deck and install, for replacing factory deck i totally agree that it will look like , the only way u should change the stock deck is if u get a double din or a built in gps which puts ur total cost at 2 grand and up, take a look at where your cigarete lighter is, thats where iam going to place mine

if you want loud, and just a sub system, go with a DD 9515 and a Hifonics bxi2008d. Should run you under 1500.00 with box and install. It'll definitely be super loud, with way too much bass, but you can add front components, amp and deck later. otherwise if you want balanced, good sound, then look at the whole system. If you want to keep your oem deck, then get a JL clean Sweep, or RF 360 etc..
Wow, all the answers and not enough questions. OP, hit me up on msn, forbidden@telus.net or call me 1-888-881-9911 or if by a slim chance you are in the CFB Comox area, 250-897-3397 and we can discuss some great options for you. I have some amazing deals going on right now that are suited to your application.

Whosit
set up looks awsome!
I have a question though you subs are 1 - 4 ohms and that is a 1 ohm amp so are you having to power at 2 ohms or .5 ohms therefore losing power?
Also it says that those subs are
"power range: 50-350 watts RMS (1400 watts peak power)"
Does this mean that they are 1400 watt subs or 350 watts?
With that amp would I not be better off getting a single 1 ohm sub?
This is all based off of recent research I have done and I could be completely wrong so please let me know...

So you are going to have 2 decks in your car? I agree that where the cig lighter is would be a awesome spot though...

I think I am going to get the deck 2 amps and subs then later replace the speakers...

They're 350W subwoofers. If he tried to power them with a 2000W amp, they wouldn't last very long.
Dubs, you wouldn't necessarily be "better off" getting a single 1 ohm sub (or a subwoofer that can be wired for 1 ohm), but in that case you would get the most out of that amplifier. You could get 4 subwoofers, all 4 ohm single voice coil, wire them all in parallel. That would bring your load down to 1 ohm, and you'd get 250W for each subwoofer.
