Hello, this would be my first post, I've been reading around the internet and I can understand the technical terms now, but I'm looking for some personal opinion.

I have:
2 Alpine Type S 6.5" coaxial (80W rms, 4 ohm)
2 Alpine Type R 6.5" components (110W rms, 4 ohm)

What amps would be well-suited for these speakers? What power rating would I be looking for? Would sound quality be the only advantage of buying a higher end amp with the same watt output?

the alpine pdx 4.100 would be a well suited amp, and quality wise, well, I don't believe you'll hear a difference, but many will jump all over that statement.
