To keep this SIMPLE, a rca cable has two conductors. The center pin which is positive and the outer shield which is - . The outer shield is the one that needs to be regrounded. You only need to connect to ONE of the rca cable shields. Ground one end of the wire to the chassis of the headunit, leave all the rca cables plugged into the headunit. Take the other end of the wire, bare it and wrap it around the outside of the rca jack where it is plugged into the headunit. Tape the wire to ensure that it stays where it should.

A noise filter can help but does not solve the problem. It takes out all or most of the noise but it also takes out the sound that lays at the same frequency. So it is a band aid at best. Your blown fuse in the headunit is introducing all sorts of noise into the system, of course it is making things sound bad.

Right I'ill do this when I have time. Is the bolt that hold my unit in the factory bracket a good ground? because it's the only place I see I can connect a wire easily

Well I just did this and it did not work. I connected the wire in the unit chassis and on the metal end of the rca (I unplugged the rca to have more space but just wrapped the outside). I still have this buzzin noise. Well I'm confused.

I had the same problem with my pioneer deck. Took it to the shop and they said it was fine. I took my truck apart 3 times trying to find the noise and finally gave up and did it the cheap easy way. I used a spare rca plug on the back of the deck and and old rca cable. Cut the cable up and attached the shield to the deck using a ring connector.
With everything hooked up normal touch a wire from the chassis of the deck to outside of one of the rca plugs. The rca's have to be plugged into the deck to do this. If it's the deck the noise will disappear. Search for pioneer deck noise and you will find lots of info. This is another way to do it and the general idea you are after although it is really only necessary to do it to one plug.

Can you take a picture of what you did, how it looks? That picture above is crap and NOT the best way to do this. Also is the noise through only one side or both, front and rear, left and right?

I'll try to take a picture tomorrow but I'm at my secondary house so no garage... What I did is wrap a wire on the metal of an rca wire and attach the other end on the frame of my player
