Cadence amps any good?

i'm looking for a 4 ch. amp to run my 4 door 6.5 coaxials (Infinity 62.9's). i'm thinking of this one - good bang for the buck?

It looks like the amp puts out 75w x 4 @ 4Ω and the Infinities power handling = 75w, perfect match? :P

I'll have to remember that one, hard to beat the price

Specs look good. Not too fond of the styling, but if you don't mind form following function, then who cares. 250x2 bridged means if u get a high end set of components in the future you've got plenty of power on tap.

Hm, I have never seen any Cadence that wasn't garbage but maybe you'll get lucky.

The old original ones were Zed Audio built... Think it was the A7HC (???) it was a monster amp as was most of his stuff. Today it is just more re-branded, made in Korea junk using the name of a previous good brand.

^ Close but Orion had an amp rated at 1 watt, the Concept 97.3, that would drop about 1500 @ 1ohm

I certainly miss the excitement and mystique as we tried all this cool stuff to see how well it worked.

I don't miss the equipment at all though. Give me a modern amp any day of the week.

Ouch, DUKK, that hurts. The Cadence Z series amps from 2002- were nicely built amps. I heard a few systems using these, and am currently running the Z6000 six channel amp and love it. The subs and components from that era were decent also. I cannot speak on the new gear, not too sure about it though.
