Calling all Hifonic Freaks!!!!
#1
Well I finally figured out what I am doing for my setup after 2 years. I am running Max Fidelity 5.25 and 6.5 in each door with two sets of 30mm silk dome tweets and bridging it down to 2 ohms each side. I will be running a ZX1000 hifonics which is 500x2 at 2 ohms and then I am running 2 Max Caliber 121000/4/4 12" drivers and running them with a Hifonics BX1505D.......well thats what they sold me. Im a little confused. This years model number is BX1605D and I thought last years was a BX1500D and the TX series has a TX1505D but does anyone know whats up with this model number??

Send Northern SPL a PM, he might have his hands into the Hifonics line. Long story short though, take a look at the number of 1000 watt amps that have 90 amps or so of fusing and are also class D. I just can't see how this amp makes this kind of power unless the voltage is higher than a crack hound.

So 900-1000Wrms not to hard to imagine? I was hoping this since I now have a 1000wrms a/b amp for my front stage. If this true then it should balance out nicely. Yes or No? otherwise I will be ditching this swoot BX1505D amp. They tricked me. I knew I should have got the BX1605D. Dam

Ya I did, i think when they get here they will both be for sale. I wanted to get two of the amps I sell but Im on a budget build up and though I will try the new Hifonics cause I am an old school hifonics and USAMPS guy. I though I was saving money. Great so much for that. One of suppliers offered me that set for a smokin price. The zx1000 I have no problem with its the BX1505D. I should have listened to my gut.
