cement is so last season. i myself curently working on an enclusure made and reinfornced by 1 inch thik sheet matal tha tis zink coated. i've had done a test of a box like that against a cement box and zink coated metal box won.

Cement is more porous so it would have less reflections then metal............besides, 1" thick sheet metal ???? Come on...........

I use 3/4" MDF [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Man, that cement must weigh down the vehicle like crazy. I've seen some older installs using sand, is that still being used?

It's actually quite easy. I could make a 4' cut in less than 10 minutes.

I'm not saying it isn't easy, I'm saying for the average person to do it and build a box out of it is not easy and not cheap at all.
